Hi friends, lets know some facts about INDIA
I take a chance to thank my friend (Sahiti) for the info given by her which made me to add some more interesting facts here :)

> The navigation system was invented by indians
about 6000yrs back or in other words 4000 B.C. in sindh river
> Chess was invented in India
> Martial arts like varma kalai were first
created in India & later they are spread to asia by budhists
> Zero was invented by Indian named Aaryabhata
> Baudhayana, an Indian mathematecian first
calculated the value of Pi
> The first university Taksashila
started in 700 B.C. Thousands of students all over the world
studied various subjects
>India’s chirapunji holds the world record for the most rainfall in a
calendar month and in a year. And Mawsynram is the most wettest
place in the world is also in india.
> Ayurveda was also introduced by saints in
India, the father of ayurveda is charaka , who was from india in 2500 yrs back.
> The smart astronomer bhaskaracharya calculated
the time taken by the earth to orbit the sun hundreds of years back
> Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus had
contributions from Indians.
> Quadratic equations were by Sridharacharya in
the 11th century
> Susrutha is the father of the surgery who was
from india
> The place value system, the decimal system was
developed in India in 100 BC
> The game Kabaddi was originated in India
> India never invaded any country in its last
1000 yrs history
> India has the
largest train network used by the population
> The world's largest Road network is in
India of about 1.9 million of miles used by the population
> Until 1986 India is the place wher diamonds
are found officially
> Around 1,652 languages were spoken in India
> The worlds largest montossory school is India,
it has over 26,000 students
> Indial is largest producer of milk in world
> India is still largest buyer of gold in world
as it is an important part in Indian culture
> India is one of the largest exporter of software,as of
